Dawn Carlton
Dawn Carlton is the Director of Finance for Volunteer Behavioral Health Care System. In this capacity she directs the daily financial operations of the organization including the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, HUD and Representative Payee Services, and Bookkeeping departments. Dawn joined Volunteer in 1997 as Fiscal Services Manager. Prior to that she was the Accounts Receivable Supervisor for Johnson Mental Health Center. She has fifteen years combined experience in all aspects of not-for-profit financial management. She is a past president of the Fiscal and Accounting Section of the Tennessee Association of Mental Health Organizations and currently serves on the TAMHO finance committee. She is active in community service, currently serving as chairman of the Signal Mountain Social Services Agency in Chattanooga. Prior to joining Johnson Mental Health Center Dawn was employed by a health care consulting firm; and was Director of Sales for the Chattanooga Choo-Choo Hotel.
